There is a tremendous benefit of investing in our most vulnerable children. And a terrible cost if we do not.

We are a community-based agency with a range of services and initiatives dedicated to improving the lives of foster and adopted children, vulnerable youth and families throughout their life.

As a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the well being of children, ARI partners with RI DCYF as the adoption and permanency resource for children in state care.

Some – but not all – of the funds that directly touch the lives of children, teens and families come from contracts with government agencies.

ARI depends on donations from the community—people like you—to change the lives of those who need us most.

Each year we need to raise close to $900,000 beyond contract revenue to close the gap in our operating budget so that we can do the life-changing work that so many children and families depend on.

87% or more of the contributions we receive are directed to programs for children, teens, and families.
