From June 2 to June 8, 2023 there will be something for everyone to enjoy as hundreds of compassionate Rhode Islanders come together across ten days and an array of featured events to help Adoption Rhode Island make life better for children and teens in foster care.

Three grand events – each in a stunning venue offering distinctive entertainment and moving programs will CELEBRATE the strength, beauty, and potential of children, teens, young adults and families touched by foster care; INSPIRE generosity so that being in foster care is never a barrier to the childhood and future every young person deserves; and HONOR the champions whose leadership, advocacy and philanthropy are changing lives and making the world a better place for all children.

With Gathering to Give (GTG) this year expanded from one day to ten, dozens of individuals, businesses and organizations are again invited to hold their own private get-togethers with family, friends, customers and colleagues to join in raising the vital funding that makes a difference for thousands of children and youth. Each privately hosted Gathering to Give is as unique as the creativity of its host – from garden parties to golf outings, musical events to backyard bbq’s, hikes to game nights, and more!

8th Annual Duffle Bag Bash!
Children and teens living in foster care or residential placements often keep and transport their belongings in trash bags.

By providing children and teens with their own rolling duffle bag or suitcase, they have a safe place to keep their personal items when changing placements.

Help us show them that we care…

Join us for an afternoon of fun, food, friends and festivities, all while helping ensure children and youth do not have to move from placement to placement with merely a trash bag to carry their things.
