2019 Spring Gala – THANK YOU!!

Thank you to all who supported Adoption RI at our 35th Anniversary Spring Gala! It was certainly a beautiful evening, made even better by all who joined us! The evening was a celebration of the difference ARI continues to make in the child welfare community — highlighting our scope of services, the need for these services and results of our involvement with youth and families impacted by adoption and foster care. We are so grateful to @Massimoto Media, Inc. for capturing this message in the video below, debuted at our event…

Thank you to all of our Gala Sponsors!

And thank you to ARI staff member and photographer, Yolanda Washburn of “Beyond Measurement” for capturing special memories of the evening…

The Heart Gallery

Our 14th Annual 2018-2019 RI Heart Gallery, featuring beautiful portraits of children in RI foster care hoping for forever families, photographed compliments of several local professional photographers, and pristinely produced courtesy of Printmakers, Inc., is on tour throughout Rhode Island.

The children featured in this Heart Gallery are only a small number of the children in Rhode Island foster care who are in need of permanent families.

This powerful gallery can be viewed at throughout the month of July at the Children’s Museum, before moving to the Malcolm and Elizabeth Chace Education Center Gallery at Women & Infants Hospital
If your business or organization is interested in hosting the Heart Gallery, please contact Bridget Gieseke at bgieseke@adoptionri.org.

And remember, if you can’t visit the Heart Gallery in person it is always available to view virtually, thanks to Doug Fingliss and Laura Vaillancourt of Innovative Visuals. Doug and Laura came to us again this year, offering to donate their time, talent and technology to create an immersive 3D Virtual Heart Gallery for us, allowing the public to virtually walk through the gallery, and bring each beautiful portrait right into their homes and into their hearts! Innovative Visuals uses this emerging technology typically in the real estate and construction arena, so their concept of applying it in the world of permanency and adoption recruitment is truly cutting-edge! Please take a minute to learn more about Innovative Visuals, LLC and their capabilities on our website ‎here.

And, view the 3D Gallery below, where using your mouse or touch screen you will be able to ‘walk’ from portrait to portrait, learn a little about each child – and coming soon – actually hear from them – and more! Thank you so much, Doug and Laura for this innovative gift!
