Our experienced staff of culturally competent Master’s level clinicians offer an array of strength-based outpatient and in-home services for children, adults and families who are impacted by foster care and adoption, including:

• Individual, family and group therapy
• Support groups for parents, children, teens and families
• Adoption preparation and disruption prevention services
• Office and community-based services

Preserving Families Program

This program offers comprehensive clinical and case management support for the adoptive family. The program includes an in-home, at the agency and community based component for individual, family and group counseling.

Adoption Rhode Island offers a variety of programs and services in a variety of different areas for waiting children to help keep them hopeful, empower them to believe in themselves and to help us find them the forever family they so deserve. The links in this section will offer an overview of some of our typical programs.

During this pandemic, our groups look different but we are being creative in ensuring we are still meeting the needs of all children, youth and families impacted by adoption and foster care.
