DESCRIPTION:Join us at Matunuck Community Center\, 619 Matunuck Beach Rd.\, Matunuck for an afternoon of fun\, food\, music\, games and activities for kids & adults\, and more – all while helping make a difference in the lives of children in RI state and residential care! Children in care often move from placement to placement throughout their lives. The Duffle Bag Bash is an outdoor event that helps make those moves a little less difficult\, with an admission ‘fee’ of a brand new rolling duffle bag or suitcase and/or a $25 gift card for adults\, and one brand new backpack for children. No child should have to move around with their belongings in nothing but a trash bag. This event will be from 12-3PM.
