DESCRIPTION:You can help make this holiday season a little brighter for a child or teen in foster care and adoptive children and families in need! \nFrom now through December 11\, Adoption Rhode Island is collecting gifts for distribution this season. We have gathered ‘wish lists’ from many of our youth and young adults if you or your organization would like to help make wishes come true. Unwrapped gifts for our school-aged children and gift cards or apartment items for older youth would also be greatly appreciated. DESCRIPTION:November is National Adoption Month.\nIn celebration and recognition\, Adoption Rhode Island is pleased to resume our annual State House Ceremony to celebrate adoption\, raise awareness about the youth impacted by adoption and foster care\, and recognize several Rhode Island community members and child welfare professionals for their outstanding commitment to providing safety\, belonging and permanency for adopted and foster youth. \nThe public is invited to join us for this inspirational event coming up on Wednesday\, November 15 from 5 – 7:30pm.
