Thank you for seeking information about adoption. Creating a family through adoption is an exciting, challenging, and hopeful process. Children in foster care are especially in need of forever families. We believe that all children are able to grow to their potential when they have loving families committed to them forever.
There are many resources in Rhode Island to help you as you travel the road towards becoming an adoptive family. At Adoption Rhode Island, we will help you get in touch with those resources. We have information, books, videos, and experienced staff, all here to make the adoption process a little easier and support you along the way, as well as post adoption.
The ‘Considering Adoption’ section of our website contains additional helpful information about the process of adopting a child both in Rhode Island and out of state. There are also educational materials about adoption in Rhode Island in our ‘Information Packet’.
Remember, if you have any questions or would like to talk to someone about adoption please contact us at 401-865-6000 or complete our Contact Form.
