Adoption Rhode Island has a growing, strength-based Child and Family Support Program. Services have been custom-designed with a particular individual or group in mind. We have unique programs for both adoptive families and waiting families. New creative and flexible services continue to evolve to meet the many different needs for support throughout the adoption process.
Adoption Rhode Island provides:
• Home and office based counseling
• Education and support groups for children and families
• Outreach, information and referrals
• Adoption preparation and disruption prevention services
• Assessment, education and support to foster families considering adoption and throughout the process
• Kinship Care services
If you are an adoptive mom (or soon to be) who’d like to to join others for supportive discussions on parenting issues and experiences, please contact Beth Capron at Adoption Rhode Island: 401-865-6000 or email@example.com.
Join us each month as pre-adoptive parents are connected with other pre-adoptive parents to share in the joys and challenges this transition may bring to the family. This is a casual group program and commitment to each meeting is not required. click on the flyer to learn more. For more information, contact Catherine Fecteau.
